suitable candidates for service as

Engineer Surveyors in consultation

with Commander G.F. Hole and the Board

of Trade, on the terms and conditions

specified in the paper of particulars

enclosed in the Governor's despatch,

3. Unless you see any objection

the appointment of Ship Surveyor should

be offered to Mr. R.K.Collings as soon

as possible If he accepts, arrangements

snould be made with the Board of Trade

for him to undergo a short course of

training as recommended in paragraph (a)

this Department in due course of the
